ok i reached home at 9plus... after havin dinner with benjaboo at parkway. weeee! we chatted loads of stuff. abt relationships. OK! I ADMIT! *throws hands into air*
confession: IM SOMEBODY WITH SHORT ATTENTION SPAN.
substantiation: less than 3mths. =) *winks*
sorry la... but at times, i really can get real bitchy ok!!! DARNS. i've got too many bad points. LIKE i got bad temper. (i get pissed VERY EASILY, weilyn can tell u all abt it). IM VERY IMPATIENT. (ppl can wait for me, but not me waiting. go to hell if u're freakin late.) i am kinda sociable with guys (whom i noe ... very close) AND GURLS DO HATE ME FOR THAT. ok. they'll label me as SLUT. urgh. like wadever. however, i shut out from the outside world LONG LONG AGO. i now damn anti social la... =X wad more? i got bad character. FAT. UGLY. ok im not that ugly. but YES, to a certain extent.
i shall stop whining. n carry on blogging.
woot! i bot sth for jerome mak. YAWNS. he todae during lect ASK for pressent? eh like HARLOW? smack his ass ar. anyway, wadever ok. juz take it n shut ur gap. =P
todae SUN SUPER STRONG. made me sunburnt. i had sailing todae. too long nv sail. RESULT: im too scared to sail. i was whinin n butterflies were like RAMPAGIN my stomach before launchin. its always launchin. the ganchiong part. URGH. kelvin (our instructor) forced us to bring water bottle out to sea. i threw away mine... n i had to buy a new bottle of mineral water. GRR. waste money. arh. ber so funny la. she forgot to bring gloves n booties. den weilyn forgot to bring her ******. nt supposed to say it out LOUD. unless i wan my head to be rollin on da FLOOR. lol. ok todae's wind is abt 12-13 knots. DARNS. abit too strong for me. sorry im noob. but i dun care. i gotta build up my confidence again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! white caps. *scared* ber helped me in launchin. WOOT. thanz a million babe. i tell u ... the daggerboard arh... so hard to ZHAm it in. i had to stand on my boat to slide it in. YAWNS. i cldnt really handle my boat sia... but i din capsize. we were doin REACHIN. n guess waD? i sail so many rounds... I ONE BUOY ALSO NEVER ROUND. its either i missed it ... or i undershot. cos sometimes too many ppl crowdin arnd the mark. ALAMAK. i nearly bang my boat onto 2 other boats la... but then heng, I SIAM! =P todae too many ppl lang ga liaoz. weilyn n ber kp collidin into each other. anyway, i tell you. i was so panicky on my boat. the wind picked up, n i slide myself outta the seat hurriedly to HIKE OUT! pull in mainsheet n POINT! oh yeah. startin rite, the launchin, i was sailin the 1st metre, i shouted. "SHIT! THE mainsheet nv put properly." im like... seh. nvm i sailed without adjustin it first. so i was like HAVIN SO MUCH DIFFICULTY pullin the mainsheet. wadever.
SAILORS' MOTTO : YONG ZHAM DE. hehz. so i pulled damn hard.
i forgot sth todae. i actually forgot to sheet in everythg BEFORE i tack n gybe! how could i!!! so, end up, mainsheet got tangled n stuck to my stern. wells, heng i nv cap. on the verge of cappin la... but faster used my body weight to counter the wind. oh another mistake, i din tighted my KICKER, and hence, my sail was catchin TOO MUCH WIND UP THERE.
sailors not present, kelvin told us the wway to sheet in. use ur mainsheet hand to pull n throw to one side first. if comfortable, cont to the more advanced stage. whereby ur mainsht hand pull liao, then ur tiller ext hand pull... continue this action.
n when u goin down on a RUN, the boat is usually very rocky n unstable, use ur body weight to move n balance the rockiness of the boat. make sure u DUN CAP on a run. its GAY. ok. lol that one i add in myself de. =P or u can make use of the rudder. but then rudder is kinda dangerous. if u point or bear too much, ur boom will swing to the other side n cause u to capsize. u can still sit on the seat... NOT IN COCKPIT. =) he said that.
oh yeah and always tie everythg on the port side. nv tie ur control lines on the starboard. CAUSE it will cause u difficulty esp when u roundin up a mark...
