DAY 1 :
race was delayed due to the 'storm'. haha. but the horn goes off at 12? yeah arnd there. den launched. omg lah. 1st race was MESSSY like fuck. really. i even asked abby "start already?" heng got ppl to ask. then first race, i sail... upwind, downwind and UPWIND again. as i was sailing that upwind, the laser (GUYS) came stormin in. omg la.
and guess wad...? ... ... STANLEY TALKED TO ME!
(everyone laughed when i tell them this.)
he said: STARBOARD. (very softly) HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHA.
now, who's this stanley guy rite u will ask. he's the guy who represented sg for olympics for sailing duh~. HAHA. chunky thighs he've got! =]
anyways, back to the race.i was still sailin upwind rite, the sail supposed to be near me. den i saw stanley n the rest of the guys... their sails are WIDE n opening. means sailing downwind kind la. CAN U IMAGINE? the wind shifted 180 degress! OMG. shifty winds. haha. kuku neh neh. anyways, while at the buoy, there was like SO MANY boats tryin to round it. 420, laser, laser radials. goodness. so much cursing n swearing. thank god i sail out of it n din get into trouble.
but i din manage to escape from the 2nd race. n i think my 2 nd race was not gd at all. sulks. upwind, NO WIND. was like bobbin on water like that. freak man. was almost back-sailing. oh then the finishin line damn kuku.
i was at position 1. tot shud sail pass the boat without blue flag n the black buoy. DEN ON SECOND TOTS, WHY GOT 2 BOATS? i was lookin for FLAg! gosh. THE PUNY BLUE FLAG!!! haha. den quickly change direction, head for the line betwn the black buoy n the boat which has blue flag. cos if not, it will be counted as DNF (did not finish) and disqualified lor. HAHA.
then the 3rd race. omg la. I was catchin winds. good. the wind finally picked up a little. but zzz. i went to tack. tack liao den so noob, mainsht entangled arnd my feet, den step on it samore. n noe wad? i got thrown out of the boat, and CAPPED. ouch! i got blardy huge bruise on my shin. SHIN GUARD!!! any soccer player wana donate his to me? =) (call me ok).
den i still can catch up with weilyn... lol. weilyn last for the last race. damn funny. the powerboat wait for her sail finish then pick the buoy up! HAHA.
after which, went eat dinner with them. LOL.
khaiwan sucks. he took ONE HR N 30 MINS to wear a pair of contacts! OMG LAH. slow poke. HAHAHAHAAH. he sucks. anyways, KFC fillet burger is nice. $2.95 one. haha...
